Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Taos. My experience at this nice little and stunningly beautiful hotel was very nice. The venue had a favourable and absolutely perfect location next to Taos Indian Horse Ranch. And it was also near other attractions and the center of Taos and a restaurant for dinner. The staff was especially helpful and really helpful, just as I expected. I liked well prepared and plentiful breakfast served daily.

Robert and Jules offered excellent service. The garden view was a serene escape.
The room, while comfortable, felt a bit dated.

We had a blast enjoying the hot tub and lounging by the beautiful pool . The breakfast each morning was so tasty and really filled us up! The only downside was the older towels that could use a refresh, but it didn't ruin our great experience 😊

The breakfasts here are a highlight, with homemade quiches and fresh fruit providing a great start to the day. The location offers a lovely view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the outdoor maintenance was lacking, and it was disheartening that accessing the creek advertised wasn't possible. Overall experience was mixed, with wonderful food overshadowed by some upkeep issues.

The Inn On The Rio provided a charming stay with a Southwest vibe. The bed was comfortable, and the hosts, Jules and Robert, were attentive. I particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast that included freshly made egg dishes and treats like their famous homemade bread. The hotel was well-maintained and had a pleasant hot tub for relaxation.
There was no mini-fridge in the room, which would have been helpful.
